The Good Housekeeping Institute, alongside Car and Driver, gave the 2019 Lincoln Navigator a Good Housekeeping Best New Car award for the Luxury Large SUV category.
After 5,000 miles of testing on city roads, highways and test tracks, the institute rated the Navigator and other cars on what drivers care about most: safety, value, handling, design, and technology.
Producing 450 horsepower and achieving 23 mpg on the highway, the Navigator is a luxury SUV with power and efficiency. The Good Housekeeping team noted the automaker’s emphasis on style and design just as much as its space and function.
“If you want the ultimate upgrade for long road trips, you can even get 30-way massaging front seats,” said Laurie Jennings, Good Housekeeping Institute director.
The amount of legroom in the second and third rows along with 13 cupholders and generous storage for passengers and cargo is where the Navigator really shines. It offers 41 inches of legroom in the second row and 36 inches in the third row. For storage, the driver and passengers get a maximum of 120.2 cubic feet of cargo room with the seats folded down.
