The middle of summer is the perfect time to hit the drive-in movie theater. Whether you’re going on a romantic date or having a fun evening with your family, the drive-in is a fun and classic destination. Here are some tips for going to the drive-in that will make your experience great!
For one, there is no better drive-in vehicle than a pickup truck. Back your truck close to the screen and lay a blanket down in the bed for a great spot to watch the movie. Can you stretch out with your date in the front seats of your sedan? We don’t think so. Borrow a truck if you can; we’re telling you.
If you do bring a truck, though, protect yourself from mosquitos and other creepy crawlies. Some people bring nets for the windows, but ample bug spray should keep you safe.
Also, bring your own food! Drive-in food is actually pretty good, but how often do you get the opportunity to bring your own candy to the movies without having to sneak it in a conspicuously large bag?
Take advantage of the super relaxed rules of the drive-in!
