The Ford F-150 Raptor design is getting an upgrade that includes an array of high-performance off-road features. While the Raptor is already well-equipped for dirt trails, the latest version on this model will get special shocks, seating, and technologies to make off-roading more enjoyable than ever before.
What is Ford adding to the Raptor? The 2019 model year will have class-exclusive electronically-controlled FOX™ 3.0 Internal Bypass shocks, which include Live Valve technology to adapt to terrain in real-time. According to Ford, the F-150 Raptor will get a new Trail Control™ system that gives you low-speed cruise control and rugged-terrain adjustments, and all-new Recaro® sport seats are great for keeping you comfortable on bumpy surfaces.
“Raptor’s success is rooted in its incredible suspension, superb vehicle control and the confidence the truck instills in its owners,” said Hermann Salenbauch, the global director for Ford Performance vehicle programs. “Upgrades to the 2019 F-150 Raptor have improved all three to new levels that the competition will have to benchmark — again.”
The Raptor also has an athletic exterior design, and customers can now choose from a range of color options like Ford Performance Blue, Velocity Blue, and Agate Black. To complete the upgraded design, the new Raptor will also feature an enhanced rear appliqué and available beadlock-capable wheels.
