Chrysler has premiered its new “Dad Brand” advertising campaign. For the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, the multiplatform campaign features Jim Gaffigan, a real-life dad of five.
The “Dad Brand” commercial features the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica and presents it in a comedic, tongue-in-cheek way while highlighting all the benefits of the Pacifica.
The Chrysler brand is all about reinventing the minivan by challenging conventional stereotypes about minivan buyers. “To do that, authenticity is key, with real-life language and an endorser, Jim Gaffigan, who is a real father of five with a strong point-of-view on fatherhood and modern-day parenting,” said Olivier Francois, Chief Marketing Officer, FCA – Global.
Jim Gaffigan offers exactly this in the “Dad Brand” ad spots. The campaign gives a unique twist on the brand, highlighting Gaffigan’s comedic skills and even featuring his wife and kids.
In the spot, “Dad Brand,” Jim Gaffigan brags about how the all-new 2017 Pacifica makes him look like an amazing dad.
